Isringhausen Imports concluded a season of giving with a donation of $15,000 to the Springfield Public Schools Foundation. Isringhausen committed to donating $100 for each vehicle sold in the month of December plus a cash contribution given by the employees. Isringhausen also encouraged its customers and other members of the community to give to the foundation with local television, radio and social media campaigns.
“We are pleased to make this donation to the Springfield Public Schools Foundation,” said Geoff Isringhausen. “We believe that every student deserves the best possible education, which helps put them on the road to a successful career and life. We are happy to support the foundation and their mission to provide local students with learning tools, scholarships, extracurricular programs and everything else that goes into a well-rounded education.”
"We’re so grateful for the Springfield Public Schools Foundation and the work they do to help our students succeed,” said District 186 Superintendent Jennifer Gill. “And together with community partners like Isringhausen Imports, we’re able to fund innovative classroom initiatives that take our students’ learning to the next level. This generous gift illustrates a commitment to our students’ education and an investment in their future."
On hand to accept the gift were District 186 Superintendent Jennifer Gill and Jack Elston, President of the Springfield Public Schools Foundation. After the check presentation, Isringhausen employees and honored guests enjoyed a catered lunch by McCormick’s Smokehouse Restaurant.
Thanks to our awesome customers for making the gift possible!
